Songs about wanting to change to better yourself, but others not wanting you to.?

I've been doing a lot of changing, for myself, to be a better person.
Staying out of gossip, going to church, cutting out curse words.
People are actully being more mean towards me for becoming a better
person. It's weird. Any lyrics that I might be able to relate to?
